This movie will be a big hit. That's the diference between bollywood and south indian movie goers. Southies make good movies a big hit even if they do not have big stars like Khans or Rajini.

Why r u so insecure about Hindi films? I only thought that since it is rated 4 stars, could it be better than a Rajnikanth movie? Why do u say all these stories? :)

Again I repeat, can u pls explain howistink? Read my message properly and reply.....
i dont know how u r reviewing the movie.i think u should know the basic of reviewing a movie.film critic should have the knowledge of films. the director u r praising is just lifting the scenes and shots from mel gibsons brave heart ,passion of the christ, apocalypto etc.,its an absolute intellectual theft.background score is also lifted from the movies.nothing is original except the original story.no characterisation depths.good thing is the art direction and cinematography.director should have his own visualization.

Boss, this movie is totally based on a novel 'kavalkottam'..I think you should read the novel first, before comparing this movie with Mel Gibson's..

I don't see any resemblence with Mel Gibson's movies..If at all we have to find any, then I can say these; 1)Running through the forest-copied from Apocalypto 2)5 mins scene in which hero walks through the hill before going to Altar-copied from Passion of christ and then sorry,I couldn't find anything to connect with Braveheart..
Looks like a classic, must see cinema. Looking forward to watching it and as someone said earlier, a sub-titled release in multiplexes across India would be great. Vasanthabalan is poised to make a hat trick, after commercial and critical hits such as Veyil and Angaadi Theru.
