I would give 2.5/5 for this film. Of course there are lot of loose ends, especially the weak climax. But the film is watchable in parts(please note in parts!), i appreciate the change, but Amal Neerad should give some extra care for scripts. Action choreography is good, mainly the fight sequence of Prithviraj. Item song of Padmapriya could have dropped.
Is this another one of those 'New Gen' films everybody is talking about these days. Like is Guru, I see the advent of a Ramgopal Varma in Amal Nerad. He could be excused if it was an original piece of work but he does not have that luxury either. Now the toss-up for the worst film of 2012 is between Department and Bachelor Party. You guys decide.

Shashi from ur snap we can make out that you are blind and good of you to go for movies...but passing criticism afterwards is really not your cup of tea.
As per Wikipedia the budget of this movie is 10 crores. In malayalam film industry if the budget crosses 6 crores, then that project is risky. I don't understand why producers are so stupid. The budget of all the latest hits like Mallu Singh, Diamond Necklace and 22 Female Kottayam were less than three crores.
