Correct, it will be proved that those tusks dont belong to elephants but are really bulls horns painted white!!!
If he declared it in past he doesnt have to again. If he declared it he could have shown it (receipt) at the time of booking. If he lost the receipt, he could have used his witness to concur. If his witness was not present, he could have asked for a check into registry and confirmation. If he failed all of the above, he can still settle it by (proving, he did not hunt the elephant, he only purchased it from an illegal vendor, and can return the merchandize). If he couldnt locate the vendor, he can claim a finders keepers and pay the fines due. If he couldnt claim it under IPC, he can let the officials seize the item (and forfeit interest). If the officials do not accept the forfeiture, he can reapply another tax declaration and proceed with necessary procedures. If the officials do not accept such process, he can drop it in a dumpster and walk away.

But still the fair trial procedure allows for a complete examination of the case under IPC and all relevant arguments must be heard in detail before any conclusions are drawn. Without any deliberations, nobody can really tell who's at fault.

Insurance industry wanted to see the MJ who dared to dream skin. Derms wanted to check if he's competent for a perfect one. Failed? Put surveilliance but follow procedures. Better yet, recommend a thorough check after, because even survielliance was bought out!

Would it be possible for a son to adopt his monkey dad? Then the son would be the monkeys fosterdad and vice versa!. Mindboggling
