on first line it says he wanted to visit india but passed away without realization of his wish. Last line lata says he came to mumbai and had lunch with my family. Have rediff gone completely bonkers.

He said that in 2010. And he had visited Lata Mangeshkar many years before 2010.

I feel that you can not compare. Each one of their caliber became great because they carved a niche for themselves. For e.g you can not really compare between Rafi, Kishore, Manna dey etc... they are best in their own right.

if we have to truly compare then no one is better then the great king of king Gazal singer Ta-lat Mahmood.
then as you say one can not compare any one with the other all are different and all are best in their own right.
There is no comparison.
