Comparing Shivaji with these movies is like comparing Mamata Banerjee with Margaret Thacher.
Your Charlie is picking some nuts to roast and then he will propose a toast. Welcome to the Wells go Far (Tenali Rama Krishna fame), but what about Borewells? They need to go deep. As you keep going deep, you confront rocks, boulders and lots and lots of dirt. It is capillarity and tap rooting. We love to keep you here for a long long time. But never fall for your own safety. Brilliant list..my top 3 would be Shanghai, Gulaal, New Delhi Times... Apart from Sarkar really agree with the list [But then they should have added few more films like Aandhi which is a classic..then Govind Nihalani's "Aghaat"..then "Amu".. dont remember any more which has been left out]

Probably Gangs of Wasseypur will join the list..I am not sure whwther it is a political film .. anyways it will be a good film no doubt..it has already rocked in Cannes

where are Jakhm, Gangajal, Apharamn, etc... they only rememeber te movies for which they get money to promote...
Ajay devgan has done ,many such movies but as he ois not into promotions, his movies are nt considered here....

Gangajal and Apaharan are good movies. But there can ony be 10 movies in top 10. Jakhm is not aa thriller. It is a drama.
Best movie based on politics in my opinion is nt mentioned in above list, bcos it was nt a hindi movie bt it was marathi political all time classic 'SINHASAN'. Those who watched it will be agree with me, those who didn't watch it asap, its a gem of an movie...!!

100% agreed in addition to this there was also a Marathi serial whose name I can't remember which was amazing
