Raja Sen, you have given a 2 rating to this movie. But I would give it a 4. What do you look in a movie ? A movie should be a complete entertainer. This movie is of course a complete entertainer. Laughs, gags, fights, happy ending, very good action and a very convincing Akshay Kumar. It hasn't any vulgar dialogue or scene.
So, what else you are looking for ? India is filled with common public who go there for entertainment and not for a classical or to see reality of life. They are already seeing and experiencing that tough reality in their daily lives. So, films should give them break from their problems, tension and realities. This film of course gives them that break and evryone comes out from hall smiling apart from people like you, who wants a self declared CLASS to prove that they are great writers and reviewers.
Be realistic and write your reviews measuring the healthy entertainment a film provides for which public goes to cinema halls. Hope that the box office verdict of the film would have helped you in understanding that reality.
Above all, I don't understand how a single person can give a review for any movie! Everyone has a different taste and understanding and they will give their own perceived reviews which may be biased or incomplete. So, it should be a panel of 3-4 people who should sit and give final review on sites or a TV as it effects the box office results to some extent

Absolutely right brother i think there is no doubt that you have more knowledge about movies than raja sen.

I think u r rite...Rajasen doesnt watch movies before givin reviews.He has given Shanghai 4 stars..whether it doesnt even deserve 1 star..Felt like leavin in just 10 mins..

yeah raja getting money for iving good reviews mind my words... dun go for movie after reading review from raja sen or do completely reverse of his reviews :p
I watched Rowdy Rathore last week... not a great movie... but, paisa vasool movie... It has everything to entertain you. Infact this is 3E movie (Entertainment, Entertainment & Entertainment). By the way, when Raja Sen is taking his retirement from this forum?
Anyway its a grosser in box office and Akki got a hit after dismal start of flops starting from 2010. The Telugu film hero was not a good looker so more time was given to heroine Anushka Shetty.

Yeah i agree.. It is lovely movie. Very good movie, it is better than most of the movies. Raja Sen deserves slap.

rediff shud applogies to viswers soon or will lose huge traffic from his site... ppl started blocking rediff from the network
