He had some 3 or 4 hits after 1980- Souten, Avtar , Kudrat and Thodisi Bewafai, rest no film of his was a hit in the 80's. Never heard of Awaaz. Which are his so called 35 Golden Jubilee hits from 1979 to 1990 ?

In fact between 1976 to 1979 he had just one moderate success- Amar Deep, so in effect from 1976 to 1990 he had some 5 hits and some 5 films that would have broken even (like Rajput, Maqsad, and Masterji).What is remarkable is the number of films he did to in this period ( 1976 to 1990) despite the lack of hits
Arthur J Pais knows that Dead men can never defend themselves against libelous remarks. Nor can they file defamation suits against him. The author's article is THIRD RATE journalism and probably CONCOCTED STORIES. Who knows whether all that he has mentioned ( The PRIVATE MATTERs which , in the first place, he should not have made PUBLIC ) had really happened at all. Rajesh Khanna is no longer there to deny the facts and call him a liar. Why, for instance, did he wait until the death of Rajesh Khanna to reveal all this " PRIVATE STUFF " ???
