Bakwaas artcile written by this authour. Khanna was never out of demand even in 80's - otherwise how could he have given 35 Golden Jub Hits from 1979-1991 and 22 silver JUb hits from 1967-1991?Khanna was successful even in 1967-1975 period with 35 GJH. Also D. Rama Naidu, C. Dhandayuthapani and directors like Devar, K. Bapaiah, C.V. Sridhar, K. Raghavendra Rao, A.C. Trilogchander and Narayana Rao Dasari from south have worked with him in eighties in min 3 films each. Samanta made Awaaz which was a blockbuster.Narinder Bedi, Sohanlal Kanwar,BRChopra,BR Ishara all hve worked with him in 1976-1991 period.thats the reason he could have total 95 box office hits in his career from 163 film. Remeber Khanana appeared in 153 till 1991, of them 106 were solo hero films and only 22 multi star. Inspite of being highest paid actor producers appraoched him for his guarnatee of quality acting. This author does not know which films were remade and which were remake of Khannas. Bharati taja and Balaji appraoched Khanna to do their remake of Tamil Hits and to establish themselves in Hindi filmdom, approached Khanna.D Rama Naidu accpeted in an interview recently (search in google) he said always souithern producers preffered Rajesh Khanna, but when he had date issues, role went to Jeetendra. Money was not an issue as they were ready to pay Khanna's salary .

Apparently, he preferred his left profile. Sharmila Tagore mentioned it in an interview.

rightly said. He was carried away by his failure and drank like drunkard, where his wife Dimple too kicked him. Cos of his past good deed he got things on golden plate, easy fame, easy money, wherein he could have done good to poor childrens charity, but got indulge only himself.

he enjoyed what he earned. why should he has to contribute? if everyone does their work correctly, nobody is required to contribute: just do their duty
