as per your comment RAjesh Khanna has 5.88 crore links and Salman Khan has 6.5 crore links, so Salman Khan is bigger and better superstar than Rajesh Khanna.....correct ? :)
Rajesh Khanna was the original superstar, and ofcourse had some flaws like any other human-being. The only superstars India has seen...RK, AB, Dr Rajkumar and RajniKanth. Rest all are just stars or pseudo super-stars or wannabes AB/RK. Dr Rajkumar is an odd man out here, as he was the only singing superstar India produced(after Saigal), who could create mass hysteria. Amithab Bachan had more flair and grace in his acting and personality. RK's core was passionate and emotional feelings, Dr Rajkumar had more drama, humility and fantastic singing talent and RajniKanth was purely style and dynamism. All 4 were great. The era is gone now.

appa harsha Hindi film industry not seen Bharat Ratna MGR, who builded Big image both on and off the screen did many thing many good thing public and poor people ,
He has given very good message thru his movies to the public and never failed in politics, Mr NTR followed him by keeping his lord krishna image and after establishing himself as politician then failed in politics , where as super star Rajinikanth has got the same charisma even after crossing more than 36 yrs stays on top in kolyood where always very tough competition is their in all the field of film industry,no Hindi star done this , up course Dr rajkumar was undisputed king in kannada but it is not a great achievement as he was never had competiter most of his career he was their from first kannada super hit

anna Ragavendra, Dr Rajkumar did have competition throughout his tenure. It was initially Kalyan Kumar and then came VishnuVardhan and then ShankarNag. But Dr Raj was and is always no.1. Infact Rajnikant himself has said that he adores and respects Raj and follows his values in life. Anyways, the focus here is more on Rajesh Khanna, and he is definitely the undisputed superstar of that time.

Those who toped in carier failed in their personail life like Tom Cruise has been married and divorced 3 times.Amit Khan divorced 1 times.Salman khan changed girl friend every 2-3 year.Dharmendra married 2 times.Kamal hasan divorced 2 times.

Aamir takes too much time to understand his character. Remember Aamir whenever had more films at hand did overacting in films and had flops in 90-99. so he does one film a year. Khanna how could he give 95 box office hits and ensure quality of work he did inspite of working in 3 filsm a year minimmum? Khanna just did not give 15 consecutive solo hits but also gave 73 Golden Jub hits and 22 silver jub hits. Khanna is superior to even bachchan as Khanna didnot resort to one grne of masal films. Khanna's work does the talking. Khanna has films of every genre and got the best music cause of attention he paid to get the best music.Khanna could understand the script faster and get into skin of the character very quickly thats the reason he could reach 153 films by 1991 and had 106 solo lead hero films. Others like Amitabh and others in 70s 80s did multi star masala formula films but Khanna stood out. Inspite of him being highest paid actor from 1970-89, he has films of every genre in his hands. His filmography eplains that each year atleast min 2 films have him as a lead hero releases from 1967-1991. Khanna did not play safe and played just one kind of role or one kind of type of films. Though called as romatic icon - can Avishkaar, Babu, Aaj Ka MLA Ram avtaar, Redrose, Chakravyuha etc be called Romanctic movies?SRK keeps doin romantic roles, Big b did angry man roles.Khanna never repeated same story or same role.

As I said previously, Khanna was in Hindi industry when the only other hero was Mehmood. So you can pretty much expect him to give hit after hit. If Rajesh is reborn and was asked to act, he would use it moronic waste actions which would have got him killed on road...again....

Sir I know the 15 hits Rajesh Khanna gave...can you please list the 95 silver jubiles your are counting, as apparently even on wiki pedia its not listed....you seems to have some extra knowledge.
Rajesh Khanns was a lucky guy who came when there were no promising actors around....his films worked because of the songs not because of his acting......
Also you mentioned that he did all geners films...please give me one good action film Rajesh did.
Dude I am not defaming him...he definetly had something as he was a superstar, but don't take this as opportunity do compare Amitabh with Rajesh Khanna and try to prove that RAjesh was better.....no way. It is easy to be on top for 5 years but tought to be on top for 20 years and give at least 3 hits every year...now thats something only Amitabh has done...check his filmography from 1974 till 1994......
aamir once told he is ikka of bollywood..his movies always goes to oscars...so he desrves to be ikka of bollywood and others r just fake only aamir is megastar..

hahaha rajesh kaka is good in delivering expressions,..but he is not versatile he does same type of roles all were romanticn emotional..u read dese artcles carefully..dere bigb snatched superstardom from him..even bigb,srk are more versatile than him srk hit from negtive roles like baazigar,darr don romantic roles..big b prformance in black n paa is highly appreciated as RK never did dese type of movies..RK has only 1 thing good..but AK,BIGB,SRK these r versatile actors..and most AK doesnt repeat same type role which RK does.so AK is most versatile actor i like rk expressions but he is no best AK is best versatile..get into fact buddy..

AK has hardly done 4 or 5 different roles in his more than 20 years of his tenure so far and wonder why he is called versatile..
RK and AB almost strated their Movie carier almost same time and their age is also same but RK got got very fast success between 1969 to 1973 he gave 15 hits in a row which is still a bollywood record which no one can break. But in 1973 after movie Namak Haraam, Big B already shown Rajesh Khanna that a Actor is born and after 1973 Hit Zanjeer, Angry Young Man, Amitabh Bachchan was born after that rest is History. It proves that after 40 years of movie carier Amitabh Bachan one of the most down to earth humble person still rulling Bollywood.
