Kudos to author for bringing out the true Rajesh Khanna that many dont know - his insecurities, complexes etc. I think his fear for Amtabh was real in early 70s. Good Job by author.
RK and AB almost strated their Movie carier almost same time and their age is also same but RK got got very fast success between 1969 to 1973 he gave 15 hits in a row which is still a bollywood record which no one can break. But in 1973 after movie Namak Haraam, Big B already shown Rajesh Khanna that a Actor is born and after 1973 Hit Zanjeer, Angry Young Man, Amitabh Bachchan was born after that rest is History. It proves that after 40 years of movie carier Amitabh Bachan one of the most down to earth humble person still rulling Bollywood
I mean, he is a good actor because he came at a time when there were no actors leave alone bad actors. Hence Rajesh "Women molester" Khanna became a star. His head strong behavior proved to be his nemesis when he turned down Zanjeer. Aradhana is such a crap movie even by 1950s standards that I really do not understand how it became full. My parents said it ran empty for three months before it became a hit. Perhaps the producers made it to run. Shree420 was a better hit. The first superstar of Hindi? Excuse the only and only superstar of Bollywood was Amitabh. Rest were good and Rajesh was pathetic. What is the point of asking every tom dick and harry on how Rajesh was?

think before u write... u cant ignore the presence of dilip kumar, raj kapoor, dev anand, at the time of advent of Rajesh Khanna, his initial popularity was coz of his unique style, looks n personality.

Please type Akshay kumar in google....you will receive 31 crore link. 6 times that of Rajesh Khanna.
It is not because he is a better actor than Rajesh Khanna or Amitabh or Sharuk, its because recently he is more in news due to his father in laws death.
Same rule applies to Rajesh Khanna.....he just dies hence everyone is writing about him and hence he has more links...if you check his links properly in google you will find that last 30 pages has links that are just 5 days old, because he just died.
Please try to understand te logic before making any comment.
