by arnab bhattacharya on Jul 22, 2012 07:19 PM

This film is about hope and opitmism amidst adversities with a street child being the protagonist..Even under dire condition something as simple as kite flying can bring him so much joy..watch it as it celebrates life :)

This is real India where majority lives under the poverty line. Nobody has to glorify it, but just tell the truth. That's all!!

What wrong in showing the poverty? Thats how India is. When you land in india, the first thing which strikes you or catches your eyes is the poverty.

This doesn't offend you that most of the movies about so called Indians are set in some foreign city, but showing real India offends you!!

Well done..

So, RK, are the street kids happiest when they go to sleep with no food, or when they wake up on the side of the road in pouring rain with no roof over their heads..?

Smart arss , he was trying to make a point that sometimes basic dreams like flying kite can give them pleasure i.e. bigger than living in posh surrounding and having 5 course meal daily. It's understandable that no one enjoys filthy conditions however such e.g. makes us humble and we should thank almighty that we have so much instread of cribbing and being sarcastic when it is not expected...

You seriously believe that..? Wow man, you're quite deluded. Is that what you say to yourself when you pass the street kids by and pretend they don't exist..let alone trying to help them.. instead of somehow glorifying their poverty..

The point is not about their poverty but about their simplicity. The richer kids are less simple in their needs and therefore less happy. This is not about their hunger, lack of shelter and other problems, but about their unaffected joy i nlife.
