It is a pity that people tend to see Mr. sen's reviews as some sort of elitist writing. he is writing for a niche crowd and if the people find it distasteful in the usage of such language, they can try reading langer's reviews in TOI. or perhaps stop reading reviews and stand outside the theatre and ask the crowds how the film was!!!
Although they are two completely different heroes coming from completly different comic universes but still i prefer BATMAN and i am waiting with abated breath for the epic conclusion to the NOLAN trilogy.Sorry RAJA but just like you im a hardcore FAN but not of childish spidey but a more realistic hero-BATMAN or shall I say Christian Wayne
Half of the review he speaks about something that is not happening in the movie. Are you reviewing this movie or Spiderman comics? And rest half he speaks about the web bullets.
Nothing on 1) the new story on Spidey's parents 2) abt acting of Irfan, Rhys Ifans, Sheen 3) Nothing on those wonderful clues all over the movie abt Green Goblin. Its so interesting how the story is built around it.
Raja Sen, few tips for you. 1) Dont try to show you are a geek. You might be, but you are writing a review for non-geeks. 2) Dont be so biased in your reviews. For several reasons this version doesnt feels so great compared to Sam Rimi's version. I simply couldnt connect with Spidey or Garfield in this version. We will say we loved Tobey in his version. We felt, he is one among us and we cheered for him. You seem to love this movie just because there is Gwen in that. 3) Keep it in simple english. Do you ever read the comments you are getting for your reviews. One of the common thing people say is that they dont understand your review. (lets not talk about other things. i dont agree to it totally) So possibly, You might ignore my comments and you will go in the same route and in this case, well, we have to live with it. But hey we live in a country where we got used to a statue PM, and an super silent, invisible President. We can live with you too.

frankly speaking nowhere near to sam raimi part 1. not thriller no emotional touch nothing in this new series. its a faiure. really lost the feel to see second movie. they waited for 5 yrs for this. by this time if they carried on, we might have got 2 movies.
