SRK best performancein 2012 was when Shah Rukh got into a brawl with MCA and BCCI officials after his team defeated Mumbai Indians in ai.For this performace MCA gave him an award of 5 years ban for entering Wankhade stadium.
Writer forgot the heading for this write up while including DON. Don remake was never a flop. It did its business and was much better than original in style and substance.

Making good business doesn't necessarily mean good movie. If that is the case ,most of Govinda's movies of 90's and early 2000 are great movies as most of them made gud business.New Don being better is ur opinion and the author is entitled to his.Even i feel SRK's Don was only gud on style other it was bakwaas,that's my opinion.

vikas ghory - dont forget ra.one where srk confessed in awards functions that only two things worked in 2011 which are dirty picture and jokes on ra.one. mind you he did not mention on the business collection.

Style and Substance...what a hilarious adjective.
SRK's Don was better than Big B's. The ending of original Don was so comical - everybody dancing with the diary. The remake of 2006 was far better - not only because of SRK but it was directed by Farhan Akhtar

I'm not saying about disc or diary; but what i'm trying to say that that ending shots of original Don could not carry the same intensity of the whole film, rather it looked like a comedy film

The climax was the only thing that was different in New Don,otherwise it was a complete rip off.I agree with the author the new one was more style-over-substance.
The list is spot on but Don can not be included.I think rediff do not have sufficient information about SRK.Amitabh Bachchan has got 5 filmfare best actors while SRK has got 10 including two critic awards.Amirabh ruled bollywood for 10 years during 1975-1985,SRK ruled the Indian box office for 14 years during 1995-2008 and still going strong.In overseas no actor can match SRK.He has 15 blockbusters out of 23 and 9 all time blockbusters out of 11.His worldwide fan following is in billions.He has so many international recognitions.He has a wax statue in Paris and is the second Indian to have it after Mahatma Gandhi.SRK dominated Amitabh in Mohabbatein and K3G.SRK has done romantic roles ,action roles,sensitive roles while Amitabh had mostly done action roles.It took 6 years and 16 flops for Amitabh to become a superstar while SRK became a superstar in his second year with Baazigar and Darr.He may not be a better actor but definitly a bigger superstar than Amitabh and Amitabh was Big B during 1975- 1985.

mr gaurav handa - the point here is not versus between srk and BigB. we can debate that on another forum. to include don or not, here is my two cents
SRK finally took a solemn oath in one of the award ceremony that henceforth he will abstain from doing remakes, especially of BigB. and that speaks volumes for itself.

How can you even consider SRK as an actor. Lousy diction, body language and awful action sums up SRK. Wonder if you ever know the meaning of acting.

I guess u r out of ur mind,or simply dumb to understand the point made here.The article is talking abt remakes ,nowhere does it talk ,who is better/greater.Mind u,SRK is a bigger superstar because there are many muslim countries where his movies get released and don't forget their number in the other countries.So,don't just brag on his superstardom. Forget AB sr, he is nowhere near to Aamir when it comes to doing versatile roles and exceeding in them.

HANDA Change your last name to GANDA i.e. PAGAL !!! Stop drinking country side DARU and start thinking. Nut case it's well known fact that SRK buys awards and in collabration with YRF it's home award. You father giving you awards in a particular vocation doesn't mean you are the best. I am not bollywood maniac however comparing AB's Gracet etc... with SRK is an insult to senses. KBC hosted by ur idol was horrible and he was kicked out. Another show was super flop too... So comparisions can go on.. 10 years down the line he will be like rajesh khanna /rajinder kumar no one will remember him....
i wonder who is the author of this article. right from the word go, rediff and raja sen have been up against BB. raja sen's loyalties for the bongs is understandable, but why on earth rediff is into tarnishing game.
