Different ? Yes. Brilliant ? Not even close.
by Dona Paula on Jul 09, 2012 12:39 PM  | Hide replies

For all of his posturing and moral sermonizing on programs like COME ON INDIA on hmtv about ethics and social responsibility, he makes Ultra violent films meant for the mass masala loving front benchers. When it comes to logic, This film eega can be ripped apart into a thousand shreds. But for a tollywood film, I would say, it is a step up, hopefully in the right direction.

Why should anyone believe in reincarnation?. Do you know what you were like in your previous life??? If not, why to give false publicity about a concept which we ourselves invented???

Knowledge is God... He is the one who preserves in our memory.. You cannot store in your brain if God is not willing.... Why would he wants you fools to remember which is not from God???.

bacchan,
As per your views they may be bad. But they are truly loved through their acting skills by kannada audiance. Whether it is remake or swamake good acting is needed. By the way the question here is need of good directors in the industry.
Moreover I am not a big fan of VV or Sudeep. I am happy with my legend Dr.Raj, Anant and to some extent Ramesh.

Yup..remakes are not liked by majority of the audiences.Remakes acting is not asset to acting skills.KFI is blessed with so many top directars, young and upcoming directars.
It is insensible to try to talk against the legendary actors who are for language and culture and have passion to talk against remakes and dubbings. This shows that you are not sensible kannada cinegoer.

Could have been better...
by Kalesh on Jul 09, 2012 10:27 AM

The movie could have been better, up to Rajamouli's standards. Somehow I felt for the story to be more riveting, the Nani - Samantha relation should have been better developed. Graphics alone do not make a successful movie. There will not be any repeat audience for this kind of treatment of a story. The story could have been better told. The highlight of the movie was Sudeep... Probably they did not want the movie to be very successful for certain reasons...
