It would be interesting to see if Meryl Streep's gonna win the Oscar for the record 3rd time or not.. Noone has done this before.. and I am sure The Iron Lady must be a wonderful movie.. tough decision for the Jury.
Another obvious miss is the soundtrack from Sherlock by Hans Zimmer. The piece where Sherlock fights the Pollack is enrapturing. While the movie was a letdown for me personally, the score was undoubtedly deserving enough to be nominated. The exclusion of Di Caprio for J.Edgar is confounding, to say the least.
