nope..it was a classic..it was grander than its components..irrespective of its typical revenge theme, tamil caricature mithun and ugly heroine, amitabh as vijay dinanath chouhan was awesomesauce..period..
Agneepath is one of the most mediocre movies ever made....I am sure the new movie also is the same. There will be no content in the movie. Only Hrithik's performance will be good and Katrina's dance...ppl will go to c only CC...nothing else!

You should drink some urine, to recollect the National Award winning movie & above all Amitabh's acting. True Mithun's role was not necessary & overacted, but above all an outstanding movie.

well, drinking urine will not make this movie a classic.. it would remain as a B-grade cult movie! :-)
Well,Agneepath ain't a classic.. rather it's a B-grade cult movie.thanks to doses of mindless melodrama during the time when creativity was dead in bollywood.. Even the names of the movies released in 1990 would make you cringe!! thankfully, that dreadful era is over for us. however, it makes no sense atall to remake 'Agneepath'. Its good that Mithun's character (Naariyalpani wala) has been scrapped.. that would been absolute torture!!
Awesome take. Fantastic recall. We have gone through the good and bad of those times. Superb article. There was a cinema blog called passion for cinema. They have closed down. But the blog had a fantastic collection of film related articles. More from film makers point of view rather than actors. Liked the website. Can rediff start something like that. The link "Movies" can take care of the cinema blog
