The subjects we study in school/college has nothing to do with acting. Not only acting but for most of the people we are successful, the real life learning (education) begins after they are out of the campus. The attributes/talent you need to succeed in a domain has little to do with what we study in a semester and then forget. These actresses need to be talented in their acting to succeed. Many of them have already come from a filmy background but that gives advantage only in the beginning. To succeed longer, they need to show some amount of acting talent and dedication just like people in any other domain. My Graduation was a criteria, most of the male actors who are graduate would be superstars at the same time. That's not the case since your graduation does not teach you how to act or dance. Almost all of us don't study dancing and acting in our college syllabus.

still, no harm in getting oneself educated (academic).
Advantage of being an heroine than a PHD is that: You get fame & money both... But with PHD you only get knowledge no fame & only limited money... These heroines are that lucky to have got everything that a girl dreams of which a PHD definitely would'nt have given them.
