The fact is that the original Big B acted "agneepath" was nothing to jel about.AB career was nosediving for doing whimsical movies with Man desai,prakash mehra and tinnu anand. Then mukul anand was spotted by AB performing in Khuda Gawaha, Hum and Agneepath ,all three were below par affairs. The last one was more or less a marketing gimmick that Amithabh can do repeat his Deewar days. A genuinely bad script, unintelligent direction, voice tampering (tried to ape Marlon Brando and misearably failed), unmelodious music made Agneepath a flop affair. Amitabhs self promotion gimmick misfired. the remake with h roshan can be shade better with some good music,semi urban backdrop, attractive caste. Still ssanjay dutt on the promos loks a big no no.
