Abhay, he was not a bus conductor by birth. His family circumstances forced him to take up that profession. But what one must admire is his perseverance to follow his passion for acting. Not only did he succeed, but became a superstar. You think an entire State of people is mad? You must be out of your brains for a shallow view as this. Remember, you can't fool all of the people all of the time. FYI, I am a Tamilian but brought up in Maharshtra and had never watched a Tamil movie acted by him until in my early 20s. In fact, I knew him before because of Andhaa Kanoon, Gangwa, John Jani Janardhan and Geraftaar. Some of this movies were watched by me for my hero -Big B. But once I watched some of his original movies in Tamil, I realized his true potential and screen presence. I am not a hero worshipper - but all I can say is if SRK can be star, Big B can be a star, Aamir, Sallu or Kaka can be star, so can Rajini be.
He has come on his own...without any godfathers and he's from a humble background. Just because he was a bus conductor, does it belitte a person?

True, before conductor even worked as Carpentor. Nothing wrong in it. What way it matters he was conductor or collector, He is terrific South Super Stat, no doub't

Mr. Kumar, We have always known Indians are parochial and you are a stellar example of that.
Now coming to your comments, 1. Is there something menial about being a bus conductor- if there are no conductors will a bus conduct itself? Every job my friend has a dignity and nothing is menial!!!
2. In which instance has he fooled anyone , If you know something share it else dont accuse someone - that is called ranting and only fools rant!!!!
3. Tamil people think no end of themselves?? what is this supposed to mean ? all others think of themselves as inferior to Tamils?? when you write anything especially in a open forum think 100 times before doing so and then think one more time before pressing enter!!!!
