agreed, glen. Maybe we should have something like "The Independent Film Awards" which recognizes the kind of movies you just mentioned. Becoz Filmfare, star dust etc are going to recognize only the commercially hit films. That way the awards-obsessed Indian public would at least come to know about these movies and may even watch them!

Absolutely! Biggest grossers get awards in Bollywood irrespective of mediocre senseless acting!! And please do not even mention Oscars in the same line as Filmfare, Screen etc....
