aah the oscars, predictable and boring. Mr. plummer gets a grace award for not being recongnized all these years. Octavia spencer given an award so that viola davis can be skipped and meryl streep can be honoured. Except for her makeup, it was not a performance worthy of an oscar. Give HUGO all technical awards so that Artist can get top billing. Billy crystal was a damp squib tonight. After that awful duo last year, anything would seem better. Get ricky gervais to host this gig and watch rating skyrocket worldwide. The only thing funny this year, sacha spilling the ashes on ryan seacrest.

& you'll always just keep blaming Indian filmdom/ telly/ fashion world etc as filthy, going ga-ga whatever is foreign or white.....
As compared to the Hathway-Franco trainwreck, the Martin-Baldwin embarrassment, Billy was positively delightful. But as compared to his past 7 times, which were brilliant and sidesplittingly hillarious, Billy was restrained and slightly damp, with nervous laughter and slightly tepid jokes. Billy's biggest competition was himself!!
On a positive note, both Robert Downey Jr. and Ben Stiller have now earned their spurs to host in the future.
