Well Hritik body and looks suits shiva but dialogue delevery - Akki acting wise he can take it but his sound do not have that power- Will go with Ajay- sure to give the performance what required, Dark complextion perfect, And above all - can delever the lines - the dialogue with punch - Ajay is my shiva
Hritik would be the right choice. The dude is versatile but being given no apprciation by the junta. He will indeed make a good Shiva. Another choice could be Arjun Rampal but acting skills a lil wanting.....Akki no good as Shiva and nor Devgan............but whoever u take pls not SRK. He already destroyed the great emperor Ashoka pls dont kill Shiva too. Jus take some one who kanow some acting..........bot no over ober acting like SRK........and Shiva does not stutter either :-)
Hrithik is too young to play Shiva. This is why even in Agneepath...Sanjay Dutt turned to be better than Vijay Dinanath Chauhan. Sanjay Dutt saves the movie!
In this case Akshay 1000% will be the best choice.
Ive read the immortals of Meluha. Nothing as dynamic, aura perfect as Akshay can be doing justice to SHIVA's character. Akshay has the perfect not so muscular yet super masculine GOD LIKE body.
Kjo needs to see SANGHARSH, Aankhein to know what im saying.
Indian Cinema should not be compromised by borders of lobbies. Its the prodcuers and the people who see movies lose on it.
Agneepath's Vijay was not even 25% of what was expected.
People like Amitabh Dharmendra Akshay Dilip Kumar have no replacement.

Spot on....!! Akshay is the perfect choice! But the million dollar question would be - Would K Jo consider Akki, one of the oldest rivals of SRK?

hrithik is the best choice. He has always achieved things at a younger age than others.Agneepath was a success only because of hrithik
Hrithik, although a great actor, but with his fair complexion, refined personality and his gym-physique can be difficult to digest as the tribal warlord. Akki, who is more rustic and has a natural and athletic physique, would defnitely be better suited to play this role.

On a different note, the book was great read and had very relatable language, and not the heavy mythological dialoges. And it was treat to see Shiva being portayed as being normal, with human emotions, feeling attracted to a beautiful Sati, his addiction to chillum and having regular day-to-day conversations.

Akshay is 1000% better choice than anyone. Agneepaths Vijay was a total loss. Sanjay saved the flick
im sure most will agree with me.
Akshay has the combined aura and dynamics of Amitabh and Dharmendra.
