Whitney Houston was a gifted artist who broke barriers and made it possible for the later generation African/American musicians to enter the mainstream (white america) market. She made a huge mistake though when she selected a drug addict for a husband, who not only ruined her financially, but also destroyed her talent. Unfortunately, there is a good outcome from this tragedy. Whitney now will become more famous and sell more albums dead than alive. It's quite strange how the world works, because we only seem to appreciate and want things when we can no longer have them.
