Kannad films are dying..things will change only when bangalore has more native kannada speakers.. else the language and culture will slowly die.. as it already has..look waht happened to marathi films..

Nothing will happen. Kannada and Kannada movies have withstood all the onslaught for so many years and centuries.
The success rate of Kannada movies is largely dependent on original movies instead of remakes. Personally I hate to see remakes as it doesn't suite to the life style we live in Karnataka.

The era of Kannada films between 1965 to 1985 was called 'Golden Period', where we find both art films and commercial fims got succeded and hugely appreciated by critics and won many national/state awards. e.g. Bangarada Manushya, Naagarahavu, Samskara, Vamshavraksha, Gandhadagudi, Chomanadudi, Ondanondu kaladalli, Eradu Kanasu, Sharapanjara, Babruvaahana, Kasturi Nivasa, Naandi etc.

1) I dont knw which part of India are u from or looks like u r a pakistani....Kannada cinema is frm Bangalore and bangalore is the one which is one, which is paying taxes for welfare of other Indians(NEARLY 16%)....I knw other cities are richer,,,,,,but not white money like bangalore
