Rediff allows its platform to be used by motivated and corrupt reviewers...then the same reviewers use proxies and pseudonyms to generate muck on discussion board...no one seems to be bothered about quality...
The name Major Ravi is enough to stay away from this movie. I wish Major Ravi goes back to Army(if they would let him in) and leave the audience. I fear him more than India Pakistan war.

Hey u cant blame him like that. What about keerthichakra and kurukshetra?? they r good movies... And i think karmayodha is a good movie..

I have seen this movie.. And i think its worth watching.. Different guys have different visions. What the guy who wrote the review find bad may b good for me. I suggest that all should watch this movie.. The film is based on recent issues and Mohanlal has acted brilliantly... Your money wont go waste.....
This review is unprofessional and motivated. The reviewer has not bothered to say anything about the artists and or any of the technical departments. Readers should not encourage such practices and give feedback to such reviewers...be professional and complete in your reviews....this review exposes your ethics and professionalism....shame

Whether reviewers attempt to 'discredit' movies or not, artistes such as Mohanlal (and several others) have long passed their 'use-by' date and ought to withdraw altogether from films.
Instead, such men and women keep trying to 're-invent' themselves with the aid of sundry directors and take unsuspecting movie-goers for long trips of boredom and disgust!
That the only 're-inventing' that takes place in many of the movies of today is a laboured attempt to re-produce the white man's cinematic ideas is an entirely different matter!
The drooping, double-chinned, quadruple-cheeked visages of men such as Mohanlal on movie-posters ought to serve as a dire warning to those contemplating watching those movies!

Sorry, I don't agree with you. In the case of acting there is nothing like if you cross 50 you should stay away from movies. All I can say is that do the roles that suit your age. At the end of the day whether it is new gen or superstar if there is no story, the film will not do well. You must have noticed that in the last one month twelve movies have bombed at the box office.

First movie was Ghost directed by Priyadarshan , especially the second half and climax
About this movie is that Lal proves that he has regained his intial crowd pulling capacity of yore. The movie may be bad, but has collected pretty well , as used to be the case with all Mohanlal starrers during the period from 89 to 2000. Post the Thandavam fiasco there he had literally lost goodwill for almost 10 years with sporadic successes here and there, before returning full swing with GM, Spirit and Run Babby Run.

This could have been a crackerjack thriller in the hands of someone like Joshi, Amal Neerad, Diphan or even Shaji Kailas (maybe not him :) )

No. Dont say that. With good scripts, Shaji Kailas is still the king of action movies.

Guys don't forget this incomplete and motivated review by Palicha. This is not a professional review, it exposes the pre-determined position of Palicha. Unsuspecting people who trust Rediff get this ugly, motivated fare...
What an incomplete, toothless and motivated review...rediff should investigate what motivations are behind such unprofessional reviews...its definitely taking a position without complete assessment of the movie and its artists...the movie may be horrible but the review is worse and definitely motivated...
