If the film wouldn't have promoted as renjith's movie ,this would have gone from theaters in the first week itself.Its a below average movie,good performance from all the main characters.
Is that Raapakal was 10 years back and Mamooka played a more mature servant. This movie he is much younger. In Raapakal other servant lady was young Nayanthara, here it is older Kaniya. In Raapakal both were Hindus, here they are Muslims. In Raapakal Mamooka wore, Mundu and banian mostly, here it is Mundu and Shirt. In Raapakal he was close to old Sharada, here he is close to young Kavya.. from this itself everyone will understand that this is a totally different movie from the earlier one

Yesterday was watching Mayamohini on TV. The scene in the bus where they show the horn being pressed was too funny!
at Nowrunning dot com. This a mix of Raapakal, Vesham and Nandanam nothing great, for Mamooka fans this will be the best they ever get, but even collection wise this movie is fair behind Da Thadiya (hit) and even Karmayodha which is so bad it should have flopped but is drawing crowds? I Love me is the only movie behind Baavuti and its a flop

Mammooty needs to rethink his strategy. He works with newcomers and outdated directors without even reading the script. What would work for him right now would be another CBI movie directed by Jithu Joseph Of My Boss fame. His first movie was a very goodi investigative flick called Detective. While i like K Madhu, his recent Banking hours 9-4 showed that he has totally lost it. Face2Faces Vinu has made one decent movie in his life with Mohanlal. Baavutis director was jobless for the last 10 Years? To kickstart his career an action movie with Diphan or Joshi (what is the issue there? Used to be Mamookas godfather), a class movie with Dr. Janardhan (Akasathinthe Niram), flicks with Ashiq Abu and Lal Jose (already in the pipeline as per reports).
Avoid at all costs: Shaji Kailas and Johny Anthony
