One Billion indians know the pet names&birthdates of Bollywwod actors&actresses, BUT do not know who is Sage Vyas!Sadly our culture is made now by bollywood films, kollywood films and regional language films whcih make us a nation of eve-teasers&rapists! what a shame! Shame our women rights activists and human rights activists intellectuals are acting as cheer leaders of crooked rulers& looters& bollywood actors and actresses for the past 50 years! It is time that rulers study the reasons for harassment, teasing and violence against girls& women& not make knee jerk reactions only!We need to take more aggressive&logical steps to prevent crimes and rape,etc agsinst women and girls and not just knee jerk reactions,folks! All women and girls are not angels and sometimes they are willing accomplices too! Shame that india has not banned Bollywood and useless and poverty-producing Test cricket even now! Just watch the bollywood and kollywood moveis and one can see the heores openly teasing and harassing girls and women and this has been going on for past 50 years and more too! To prevent rapes and sexual exploitation and harassment of women all over india, first and foremsost bollywood and kollywood movies and masala serials in TV channeles, and obscene and provocative advertisements makins girls and women as sexx objects all the time etc MUST be Banned, No other easy solution to prevent rapes and sexual exploitation and harassment of women now
I agree with the author of putting Ileana ahead of PC. Her acting was brilliant in the movie and her scope of acting was much more. English Vinglish was the best movie of this year .. and hats off to the director above all ..for dishing out a credible film to everybody . So truely said in this article that no candy flossy , unnecessary songs etc in the movie .Outstanding..I liked Vidya's performance in Kahaani as well .. she is also a top actress...what dissapoints me a little is Yami gautam missing out from the list as the second best film of the year is definitely Vicky donor..she should have been in the list she played the bengali gal role to perfection
Decent list but PC, Yami Gautam deserved to be in the list. Maybe even Bips. But as we know from Raja's Barfi review, he just did not like PC in Barfi, so obviously he not kept her on this list.
