For people wanting Gabbar, Julai, businessman etc, this list is not about the money these films raked. Ant the list does not read top 5 Box Office Hits!! The list has only those films which tried to be unconventional and yet entertaining.
While Hindi movies(like Talaash, Kahaani) are trying to improve day by day(except SOS and Khiladi kinda krapp) in quality, Tollywood is going to doogs. They spend(or waste) 30 -40 Crores on big star's movies but take those movies without proper story and screenplay. The fights are a big joke...Sudigaadu sums up the existing stoopidity in the Telugu movies real well. After watching it, all the movies in Tollywood appear like spoof movies. The songs are loud, the tunes are not worthy to hymn or remember. 90% of the songs are sung by singers who do not know Telugu though they are badd at Telugu diction. Local singing talent is limited to TV and stage singing. All heroines talk in the same voice(sugar sweet dubbed voice) because none of them know Telugu. They even don't care to learn and dub their roles even though they act in Telugu movies over a long period of time. Hope these big heroes and directors do something and improve the quality of movies soon.

Julayi ? You got to be kidding me. The movie was incoherent with a few good scenes here and there. Trivikram is a good dialogue writer but not good at screenplay. his best work so far and will be Athadu(which is again a copy but it is a decent movie overall).

yes, you are correct ...julayi is not worthy, but if you go by TOP 5 box office hits, then gabbar singh, Ishq and julaiyee must be there in the list...Love failure , Life is beautiful are good movies but not in top 5 in box office
Top 5 movies In what perspective? Commercial? technical? traditional? Forget my taste Except Eega none of them are commercial hit. So what made the author to pick these films as best 5?? Lucky i don't have hair on hear to pull

Dookudu was released in 2011. Businessman was average at best. Of course LIB does not deserve a place in the article either.
