Kamal Haasan is a Genius. He is an extremely versatile personality who knows the nuts and bolts of Cinema and its technology. Is there any other actor who is acquainted with all aspects of Cinema like Kamal ? There was ofcourse the ever green Raaj Kapoor, Shantaram etc. But it is past. Definitely I can find nobody today except Kamal who is at his cinematic best. Not only this, he is good in poetry as well as history. He can speak on any subject including Vedas although he is an atheist. He was the first Cinematic personality to welcome Television and predict that it will only help Cinema in the long run. His prophesy has been proved right today. He also was innovative when he introduced digital technology in his Mumbai Express which ofcourse didn't do so well at the Box Office. His current venture Viswaroopam has already created a controversy by Kamal's intention to release it in DTH before the film's release. This is a novel idea and Kamal has proved that he is also a good businessman. The fee priced at Rs. 1,000/- will fetch atleast 100 crores even if a lakh people see it on TV. Considering that Kamal is a multi-lingual filmi personality, that will not be a tall order. So he will fetch a neat profit of atleast Rs. 50-60 Crores in the initial stage itself. I think this is a new concept and the way forward for big budget films in the future. I have seen the trailer of Viswaroopam and it looks grandeur in scale and a real treat to watch.

if one lakh people watch this movie by paying 1000 each, final amount will come 10 crore not 100 crore.

Yeah, it is a mathematical error. Let us say 10 lakhs instead of 1 lakh. It is definitely possible considering the reach of Kamal both in India as well as Overseas.

AAMIR KHAN in Bollywood is almost similar to Kamal and has all the quality and infacts makes better movie than kamal for sure :)

yeah i agree AAMIR KHAN is a good actor and provided good movies..but kamal is ahead of amir in terms of number of quality movies and versatality..i can name atleast 20 great kamal movies..ex.appu raja,sadma,pushpak,chachi 420,Hindustani,Michael madhana kama rajan,anbe sivam,Guna,mahanadhi,devar magan,kuruthipunal,thenali,swathi muthayam,saagara sangamam,raajaparvai,16 vayathinalae,sigappu rojakkal,vaazhve maayam,nayagan,varumai niram sigappu..
Please mention atleast 10 best movies of aamir and please note the above mentioned movies are not commercial movies but great movies with awesome acting with sheer versatileness and 17/20 has been successfull as well

Not 1 lakh people, it should be 1 lakh household (average 4 per house. But i doubt whether all those who has DTH will afford to spend Rs.1000 for watching the movie. Because even a family with 4 persons can watch it in theatre with less than this amount

Last time kamal hassan romanced with heroine is some 8 years back in vasool raja MBBS..after that all movies has heroines for sake but there is no romance except couple of scenes in Vetaiyaadu vilaiyaadu with 1st wife and that scene is so beautiful..all recent movies MMA,UPO,10A doesnt have any romance scene and space for duet is very less..all the movies are story driven..And Vishwaroop is a movie where the space for romance is almost nil..Kamal and pooja were already a couple for marrage of convenience in US and story folds from beginning..this movie mainly focus on cultural terrorism including buddhism as well..go-watch and rate..cricket tendulkar played well last year and everyone praised at age of 38..this year he did not play well and so he should retire..as far as anyone perform age doesn't matter...if kamalhassan doesnt perform well automatically movie will be flopped and he will not act..Thanks..
Old,wrinkled and full of himself.Kamal should stop taking himself as the hero, esp if he is casting v young girls opposite him.also,shuldn't get into every single scene of the film

Dont worry my friend..Nowadays he is acting in movies which suits his age..Vishwaroop is beyond hero and heroine that deals about international community and only kamalhassan has guts,rights to deliver to audience with brilliant way of screenplay and dialogues..Remember he acted as old man,old lady while young..now at this age of 58 he delivers that suits him..As far as he delivers and people like it no need to retire and moreover this is his own production..i am sure u will like this movie after watching..thanks
This has both pros and cons. Advantage is, after the release, within 3-4 days, the movie can earn more than what is expected. Disadvantage is, within 1-2 days, HD quality of pirated copies will be available online and it hampers the theatre collection.
