'Adiye' is a complete copy
by Raj Rag on Dec 18, 2012 02:09 AM  | Hide replies

'Adiye' is a complete copy of 'The trouble with love is' by Kelly Clarkson...youtube it.
Yes, the track is truly audacious. Audacious to blatantly copy a popular track and think that no one is going to find out about it.

I visited the linked youtube page and saw/heard the song. Well, there is some resemblance but you should know what's complete copy and what's inspired!

Same genre doesn't mean it has to have the same notes as well. Adiye has the exact same notes as 'The trouble with love is'! Anyone with the faintest iota of musical sense would know that upon first hearing. It is a blatant copy and you don't need to admit it for it to be true. Good luck trying to delude yourself!

ridiculous! its no where the same tune! just because both are in the blues genre dosent mean its copied! the problem with many people is that they try to show how much they know about music by resorting to such crude and irresponsible remarks!

It has the same notes (Raag) as well. If you repeat 'The trouble wiiiith...the trouble wiiiith...the trouble with love is', it will correspond to 'Adiye...adiye...enga nee kootipora' - not to mention all the blues chorus in the background, the base rhythm, the claps, the tempo - all that is an exact replica! Same genre songs don't have all these things as an exact replica. A Ray Charles or a Stevie Wonder would kill themselves before copying so many elements from another song.

Experiment works

Seeing a Positive Feedback from Pavithra and deservingly so. Apparently looking at her comments would look as though she was a pessimist but this time A pessimist herself coud not downgrade it any lower. 3.5 * from Pavithra means 5/5. This Album truly stands out and could become the greatest albums of the decade. Just that it needs more counts of Listening, as Tunes are seemingly new and not copied/influenced/reused like other Musicians.
