Rajanis hype
by navneeth on Dec 12, 2012 08:34 PM  | Hide replies

There are many guys living with humble and simplicity in India, though they are rich & helpful, but avoids publicity. I don’t’ know why the audience of TN is behaving like mass hysteria and trying to glorify this guy. May be Rajni’s personality is a boon and extraordinary to the normal behaviour of fans.

Since when did humility and simplicity become commonplace in India, that too in public life, and that too among film stars. Please enlighten us Mr. Navneeth. If it's only the TN audience then why are you so bothered. From your response you anyway have no regards for TN.

Superstar in the truest sense
by krish navaneeth on Dec 12, 2012 06:39 PM  | Hide replies

Not an iota of ego, simplicity to the core for a man of such stature, he is a lesson to everybody as how to live a life. The way he has inspired millions with his iniitable style is unparalleled in the history of Indian cinema. No other actor comes close to the sheer charisma and pull of this man. Combine all this with his humbleness and charisma and you know why Rajni remains Rajni. Take a bow! Your legend continues to grow!

Only poor and uneducated class of Tamilians love and worship him. He is fit for cartoon film character. Some time media simply glorifying him for no reason. The fact is MGR always remembered one of the best looking south actor.

(Surya , Ram Charan , Prabhas , Mahesh Babu , Ram , Allu Arjun etc) these are complete actors compared to bollywood crap exculding aamir khan and Amitabh all time great.

Comment only if you are aware of regional movies actors/standards other wise keep quite.

Good human being..not actor
by ab karkare on Dec 12, 2012 01:15 PM  | Hide replies

He is no doubt a good human being and carries himself well in society. But most of non south indians don't consider him a good actor, because if he was then he would have been a star in hindi cinema too. Look at Kamal Hasan who was a hit in Hindi as well as South Indian movies. Tamilians are just crazy about him as they don't have someone like Amitabh Bachchan or Dilip Kumar.....

See Mr. Karkare, that is fame...if a person is known outside his immediate circle. Whereas Dilip Kumar and Amitabh are unknowns outside the north. Rajini's movies run even today- his dubbed Robot itself grossed above any movie at the time. To you south india may not be an integral part of India, so any accomplishments there would not be termed by you as significant. However that's the personal opinion of fanatics like you and the likes, not a fact.

Not Acting in bollywood is not right way to judge actor skills, Many actors/actress in regional movies are very good actors compared to so called hyped bollywood.

Get hollywood heros in bollywood it will be super flop and vise-versa ... bollywood heros will be superflop in south , so not right way of comparing the skills it's all about your first language which you speak gives the command of acting.

How many movies did Kamal do in Bollywood? Rekha and Hema Malini cannot be counted as South as even though their origin is here.. they literally started their movie careers there..and stop this bollywood bullsh!t..you guys make absolute cr@p movies most of the time like housefull, houseempty, khiladi786 or watever..and except for very very few good movies you have nothing to talk about.. keeping quiet is much better than exposing your ignorance here.. ever heard of frog in a well?

Unfortunately for the hindi-only fanatics, Amitabhs movies didn't do well at all in south. Even in hindi speaking areas of Hyd, Amitabh was nowhere near South Indian heroes. So how can Amitabh qualify to be representative of whole of India? Whereas Rajini even with some casual roles like Chalbaaz and Hum, and even dubbed Robot left his mark in bollywood. Whether you like him or not is not the question here. Every film goer in India (NorthSouthEastWest)knows about Rajini but the same can't be said about any other actor.

India is not just Tamil Nadu. The problem with the sambarland people is due to the language barrier, they barely travel beyond their state and like a toad in the well, think that India means Tamil nadu and a few neighbouring states.

Bollywood is anyway now a fleshtrade and softporn movie land that was dominated by mallu land till a decade back. And actors from there are talented? Comeon.... just dont joke. Regional movies and their actors, directors, musicians have earned more awards than anyone from bollywood... and even if they have earned, then again there would be some imports from the south.

Who earned an oscar? A tamilian. Didnt your rear burn when AR Rahman spoke tamil on that stage with that oscar on his hand? South Indians have no talent? My foot.
