The master of unnecessary slowmo, Bad lighting and "heroine dancing in the rain/waterfall/field" is back. Except for Mauna ragam and perhaps nayakan, everything is overrated.

You are insane....Mani Ratnam gave indian cinema a complete new look & sound, he is a maestro...I am not Tamilian but a Bengalee but still I eagerly wait for his Tamil movies..his cinema crosses all language barrier....

satyajit ray clan. He showcased only the slums of india. Like him, this fellow is an idiot. He had directed Roja and Bombay. Did Terror Attack stop in India with all his passionate and herioc dialogues. Be sane and not insane Saha.

I am quite sure, after the above two movies nearly a thousand jawans lost their lives, a thousand or more civilians and in Mumbai, there were serial bomb blast every alternate year and the last one being devasting Kasab attack. Ofcourse as long as fools like you exist, people like Ratnam will survive.

Nayakan was a great movie except for Kamal's histrionics. He overdid it. Iruvar has to be the best film Mani has made so far.
