tribute to hangalji
by ramaswamy kalyan on Sep 04, 2012 03:14 PM

Bollywood actors barring a few like vivek oberoi or aamir khan have always been heartless and characterless folks. Just because the great Hangal saheb was in financial distress he was ignored both at the time of his indisposition as well as at his death.

Selfish people...now they are shedding crocodile tears for cheap publicity..not one of them could find time to attend his funeral..or helped him when he was in real need.

A big lot of blah blah on this board

about the 'lack of heart' in 'famous' hindi film personalities for not attending Mr.Hangal's cremation!

But not a word conveying any knowledge or understanding about what Hangal stood for with his activism through drama and support for the cause of the downtrodden of the land!!

It is totally the success syndrome impacting the psyche of the filmy fraternity where nothing matters more than success. All the top her oes and heroines shed tears or mou th big words for down the line people;but actually they do not care. And it is the worst type of irony that such stars have huge fan following.

Amitabh

is the most selfish actor in the entire Bollywood. He has never done anything for anyone except for himself and his less than average son Abhishek.

When he needed money he befriended Amar Singh who is one of the most corrupt politician India.

When was the last time you heard Amitabh doing charity or using his stardom for any social cause.

He should learn a few things from Aamir.

Amitabh is focussed on his goals. He did the right thing.

India is not a country where one should flaunt ones charitable attitude anyways. Its not worth it.

Late mr AK Hangal

It is better late than never. By paying tribute to him at least Mr Javed Akhtar and actress Shavana proved that they are the persons of Big heart. Otherwise long association and working as a Bollywood so called a family members has no value. It is truly said when money speaks Truth remains silent.

Please don't propagate religious fight in this forum.. Neither Hindutva nor the fanatics are doing any good to the society.. they are only igniting the sentiments of religious fools to fight against each other...

Anyways this is a forum to pay tribute to a talent like Hangal Sahab so let's concentrate on that..Indeed Javed Saab N Shabana Azmi did what the whole film fraternity should have done atleast..showing respect to a great actor, a good human being and an ignored talent
