Sunny Deol's Gadar was the first Indian movie to cross Rs. 100 crore mark. Mind you there were no multiplexes at that time. It earned through single cinemas. Still neither Sunny Deol, nor his movie Gadar is ever mentioned in the list of all time great Hindi movies.
