the movie was ok. nothin special . but nothin that bad either... it will surely make money due to salman's fanbase and his star value.. a lot better than rowdy rathore, housefull 2, agent vinod etc..

u saw the movie right??? first day itself right??? :P . if this movie is bad which i can agree cause its his/her preference but still it is a lot better than the trashes i mentioned . not to forget Ra. One ... meaningful cinema doesnt make money in Bollywood. if it did , then gems like Udaan , Paan Singh Tomar , GOW I & II would have been blockbusters.
Excuse me Mr.Sen....your racsist remarks about South movies...I am going to take it up....with the concerned authorities...your job is to review the film and to give commentary on the same and not bring elements that detract the main issue...which is critically reviewing this film Ek Tha Tiger...it is a pity that rediff which edits and approves these comments on Discussion Board...has not that done....it is time rediff asks Mr.Sen to address issues properly.....I am not speaking for South or North....but these are the Sens who divide the nation by these lines...it is a condemnable statement...he must...if he is a gentleman withdraw this...and apologise....regards Prof Ranganathan Aiyar

but the sad fact is that all what raja sen has said about south indian films are true...try watching a few of the latest releases and you will tend to agree..am a south indian as well but kind of saying this with a heavy heart

Your comments are off base. The reviewer is stating a fact on the state of Salman's previous films. And yes it is true the South blockbuster remakes that Salman's does are generally crappy films to begin with that take our cinema and sensibility back by a few decades! I am a south Indian and am glad someone said it!

NOT ALL SOUTH FILMS ARE VULGAR. Bollywood has made as vulgar films as the South. And right now, you are the ones glorifying mediocrity by doling out huge box office collections in Bollywood. South cinema (especially Tamil cinema) is now taking the other route where comedies are the only ones working in the box office there. The masala trend has already passed out there. Heroes like Ajith and Vijay are now doing stylish Bond and Bourne type flicks there for the urban audiences.

question is not about north or south films...a reviewer is to judge a film based on its merits and demerits...he has no business to bring in racist remarks...some of you seem to be taking side as all of you have been influenced by his remarks...a small timer alone can win....and it is going to be a battle...let us see....the forum is for review and not for racist remarks....had he been elsewhere Sen would have been arrested....so review film based on its merits and not by its source of production...regards...Prof.Ranganathan Aiyar

Professor if you check the blockbuster Tamil and Telugu movies they are all crass with lots of vulgarity and cheap comedy. Te biggest hit in Tamil this year is a movie called OKOK starring a non actor with political backing (Udaynidhi Stalin). Please see the movie an explain. Fact is good movies dont run North or South (except Kerala perhaps)
Don't know how much money is wasted for the publicity of the film...wait and you will see it has broken the world record of collection and it has broken "Avatar" record.

south indian movies are much better than bollywood movies for sure...atleast they expose the heroine and show her assests :)
he knows very well that his foool fans will watch his movie, whatever he makes he can foool audience, and proof is in front of everyone. that he earn more than 30 crore in a day, where we are going? who should remember his movies after several years?
