She'd have lost half respect for you when you supported a sexual abuser, just because your business reputation depended on it. You went around tarnishing the poor victims character. You should have at least maintained a silence, instead of commenting on the victims 'behaviour' to mislead the direction of the case and taking the accused under your wings as a 'family'.
