when he tries to touch his gf's hand in "gangs of wasseypur" and she shouts at him and tells him to ask for a permission before touching. And poor nawazuddin starts crying.... that scene was awesome and perfectly portrays a shy person from a small town. Not to mention his expressions as an Amitabh fan were excellent too. No doubt he is a brilliant "method actor".

Absolutely right on !! I love that scene too.. though I'm not a bollywood fan, I do watch a few movies once in 3 months, and I was happy to watch GOW. Thanks to the powerful performances by Manoj Bajpai and Nawazuddin. I think Nawazuddin can become the next Naseeruddin shah of Hindi cinema.

let him learn first and ask him not to say things like "people's expectation scares me" . he needs to learn first.
was one completely rotten movie and behold the second part of it also coming! the director and the actors of the movie are themselves trying to create a hype by either arranging or attending Iftar parties or doing paid interviews on tv channels.except manoj bajpayee no other actor in the film was impressive. they are all very ordinary people and the film is much much way below even being called third rate. so nobody except themselves is having ANY expectations!

this film was for people who like to watch films based on real life situations and stories. It wasn't meant for acne prone chocolate munching twats like you. Go and watch hakla khan, shahid kapoor, karan johar kind of ludicrous dramas. shoo off !!

Love your reply!Hahaha! Though I'm yet to see the film, I'm just in awe of a great talent like Anurag Kashyap. Just Fantastic. Seen quite a few of his films. Written scripts, written dialogues & directed movies. Brilliant. There are very few talented directors out here.
