Chadai means long hair. So Chadaiyaan means a man with long hair. Not sure what Ko stands for. The word means King. So Kochadaiyaan might even mean The King with Long Hair.

rajini is a good businessman more than a film actor. its a pure hype that japanese like rajini. u google that Muthu movie in japan. u will find the article with Big image of Meena with a very small image of rajini. the movie Muthu ran for Meena and Not for rajini. Male oppressiveness. the tamil distributor did not give credit to meena. cuz, they are afraid of rajini. if u want read the article on this by googling. the movie poster of muthu has big meena face.

Mr."Obama": Pls get your facts right! Your argument is based on a google image when others who stay in Japan tell otherwise! I have many Japanese classmates and have heard from them how famous Rajni is in Japan.

Japanese people are very intelligent and technical wizards, so they want just opposite to that in the films,so they love Rajanis films which has no logic, his stunts which doesnt follow Newtons laws of motion, and most of the films are 99% animated , other dancers face changes to rajanis, other people stunt morphed to Rajani

With due respect to Rajini Sir

Once I read that on being asked about marketing of movies reaching to extreme levels, Rajini Sir replied to Amitabh Bachchan - "Amitji, I am an actor not a salesman". What happened here?

I did not intend to make fun of a legend but marketing is essential to sell products today... to make it reach people... be it movies. There is nothing wrong when SRK, Salman, Amir, Ajay or anyone else does it. Just a part of their job!!!

Rajini having fan-base in Japan is pure hype. Noone seem to know who is Rajini in Japan, except few movie distributors who were contacted by the Tamil distributors. If at all, any fan base, those Japanese distributors liked actress Meena, and Not rajini. It will not take too much time for u guys to figure out, Rajini has no fan base in japan. but he is a superstar in tamil industry and well known actor in india.

"During a visit to Japan in 2006, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh acknowledged the success of Muthu in the country during a speech"---well, he talked about success of Muthu.. and the success was due to the heroine Meena, and not Rajini. But unfortunately, in this male dominated world, you want to read this a Rajini fans.
