We have super stars everywhere but they look damp squib to others. They emote with their audience and the latter can relate with their acting. they need not be good looking; they have to be just ordinary to reflect the emotions of common man. Johnny Depp is a big star, but for me he looks ordinary, a case in point. Some Hollywood films end abruptly and then it is a great film for them!
We have our own take. In Hollywwod, actresses can be sexy at sixty; for us Madhuri is old as is Ash! For some SRK is a legend but for others he is very ordinary looking - there are many better looking ordinary folks. But he captures some hearts - but for me, his acting is well, quite ordinary! I remember a remark by someone after meeting AB - he never thought he was so dark!
So beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A super star has to work his magic and that can only be done with those with the same background. So Rajani to emote with a fair-skinned nubile girl, from North especially, makes others of the same genre dream of the possibilties - but the reality is after the show is over! Have a heart - those fair skinned will be reborne quite dark - a comeuppance but you will not know when born. Do you know white skinned are reborn in Africa or in the South India?

If u dont know 4 time national award winner Kamal Hasan and 2 time national award winner Mohan lal, then u dont know anything about cinema, and do not deserve to comment. 1st understand what is cinema and what is acting, then comment

Respecting somone does not mean disrespecting someone else. Your statements are full of regional biasness.
