Apart from Soumitra Chatterjee, he is by far the best of the existing legion of actors in Bengal. It simply does not matter whether he 'loves himself' or if he was 'married to Debashree Roy', he is an actor of supreme talent. As of 'showoffs' are concerned, the rest of India can keep learning for ever from the third rate actors in Mumbai; Prosenjit will be a new born babe in comparison!

I strongly recommend the following too: 1) Unishe April, 2) Lathi, 3) Moner Manush, 4) Sob Choritro Kalponik, 5) Ami, Yasin aar Amar Madhubala, 6) Autograph, 7) Hangover, 8) Chalo Paltai, 9) Baishe Srabon, 10) Aparajita Tumi.
This is not necessarily an exhaustive list and neither am I suggesting my numbers based on meritocracy but these are genuinely good films.
