Same is the case with India or any other country for that matter. It is highly unlikely that a top 10 list by Indian viewers will include beauties from Russia, China or Nigeria. We all have limited defintion of beauty and know only few people who come on print and electronic media frequently. An average American would never have seen an Indian movie and you can't really expect him to vote for that giggly plastic woman we are supposed to adore.
The real issue is calling these lists the 'most beatiful people in the world'. People magazine has a limited readership and have no right to select the best in the world from their subscribers. Even worse, republishing such nonsense to an audience who would most definitely find the first three uglier than bollywood extras.
