The expenses should be recovered from the Honda City owner who has caused this. Our laws are insufficient to put the guilty drunk behind bars & recovering expenses of hospitalisation, medicines, as well as income for recovery period from the guilty drivers. In such cases the expenses are in multiples of the Insurance money & I feel if required the guilty person's property should be attached for recovering money. Our laws should be more stringent to teach drunk drivers a proper lesson & keeping them away from driving, if they are drunk- or else,
At present a drunk driver gets released with a meagre jail for two- three months & peanut fines, in spite of KILLING A DOZEN PERSONS.
