Many film heroes are borrowed from neighbouring states. This may be because Madras was the epicenter of southern film industry. MGR was from Keral and Taay Nagesh, Jayalalithaa, Rajnikanth, Prakash rai, Mohan and many others are from Karnataka.

u people were depending on even for group dancers from Chennai. Common-on man how many more years u people will be keep talking about the above list of actors. U did not had even your own television channel till recent times. So dont think u r great, everybody (including you) great in their own way
You have missed so many path breaking movies and included a mixture of great movies and some average movies in the list ....no sense in this particular article what is rediff trying to convey
