comparing kannada movies with telugu or tamil movies is unfair. can you compare any local colleges in AP or TN with Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. In movie industries, KA is like local college. TN and AP has rich history in movies...it is unfair to compare them. may be, after 50 years, KA movie industry may catch up with state of the art. but KA can be proud of research institutes which none of the other states have.

I really feel pity that you are such an Illiterate who post useless messages for fun. KA industry has a rich history of 75 years. KA films bagged the highest number of national awards next to Malayalam. Each and every film industry has it's unique Achievements and standards.Even the superstar of Tamil industry Rajani had learnt the acting skills in KA film industry and that is the reality being enjoyed other industries. Prakash Rai(Raj), Kokila Nohan (Mek mohan) arjun sarja so many names who are shining in other industries.If you take Girish Kasaravalli's achivements,, Yes, KA industry can still be considered as IISc. and it's performance can be seen in local colleges of other industries.

indians do well in USA. india can only take consolation that they were from India. but the world will see that it belongs to USA. USA the enabler. the fruits and credits of their contribution belongs to USA not to India.

boss...hehehe..i do watch KA movies.. my statements are fair. u still did not realize it. u know the reason... the art/culture of the state can be found mostly in villages and small towns. not in chennai or bangalore or hyderabad. chennai and hyderabad is accessible to a common man in the state. which is not the case in bangalore. bangalore is alien to a common man of KA. the artist from interior KA do not have easy access to bangalore. how will then the kannanda movie industry will do better. no way. and the locat bangaloreans are happy with hindi/telugu/tamil/english movies. extremely negligible elite community in bangalore watch kannada movie...otherwise, they look like B, C center guys. u go and see gandhi nagar and brigade road theatres..u see the difference. u would not see that difference in chennai or bangalore. u will find the elite people watching tamil movies in chennai, telugu movies in hyderabad. i am not forcing my views on to u. this is how i perceive. i know all the 3 cities well.

I totally disagree with your thoughts. Also you are not familiar with the culture of KA. Audience in Bangalore support and watch any good movies irrespective of the language. In Bangalore, there are drama theaters like Ranga shankara; Gubbi veerana mandira etc.where artists from different parts of the state do stage performance. If there is any Yakshagana" show in Bangalore, there will be a big audience to watch it compare to Kuchipudi in HYD or Baratanatyam in Chennai. If elite community in Bangalore do not watch KA movies then why KA movies are getting released in multiplexes in Bangalore. Do you think the producers are stupid? Do you know the weekly rent in multiplex? Good example was the 80 crore budget movie RAVANAN was released and totally flopped. At the same time 5 crore budget KA move "Krishnan Love story" was released and made 20 crore business. So pls change ur attitude and correct your perspective view of looking.

Competition means what? Spending lakhs of Rs for exposing the things in item songs? Blasting TATA sumos in the air? Chasing and killing villains with modern machetes? Heh Heh grow up man. It is very easy to predict the filmy formula for tamil and telugu audience to be supper hit not for kannada audience. Pls get an expert to ascertain the things properly.
