This was a classic movie,shot & acted brilliantly by all of them........but Indian audience rejected it............because they could not understand !!!
To each his own,But for me it was a classic.A painting on celluloid .The scenes when Jimmy sheirgill dies in dark while watching parinda and Boman Irani dying and then the camera moves with the sun shining on the deserts and train moving in the background ,brilliant shot.Brilliant performance by Amitabh bachchan and Sanjay dutt.Many such amazing scenes,classic !!

I agree with you.We need more movies like Ekalvya and less of commercial nonsensical potboilers like Bodyguard, Rowdy Rathore,Ready,Housefull....We need more Aamir Khans,Vinod Chopras,Dibakar Banerjees.
this is first Amitha Bachan movie I ever saw in Theater .Belive me after the movie I HAD TAKE 2 HEAD ACE PILLS , MOST DUBBA MOVIE EVER SEEN , AND THE DABBA PEOPLE SELECT THIS MOVIE FOR OSCAR , MY GOD PLEASE SAVE OSCAR JUDGES ........
