I don't know about this movie but the reviewer is misleading when she asks where would Bollywood heroes be if not for actor Surya...thats a bit far fetching...just to let her know I want to highlight that the director Gautam of khakka khakka and Hari of Singham have helped Surya and not vice versa....these directors are known for their movies and not actors(though Hari is bland director as per my likings)...it is another matter of course that Surya brought a great zeal to the roles and kudos to him for that. Infact, the tamil version made Surya a good actor from the run of the mill roles that he was doing before then and not the other way. Also even in the Tamil version, the antagonist was equally good and appreciated and by applying your yardstick, the hero sucked even then. So please don't write wrong information about South films/actors if you don't know about them and review a movie for what it is and don't draw parallels.

force is a forceful film. great acting by all cast n hardcore raw action. climax is too good. Force has taken a good 60% plus start at many places while other places were average. All in all its a good to decent start and it will be interesting to see what number the first day gives at it is a big release. Some centres were even 80% plus on the first show.

You dont know Surya because you dont watch Tamil movies. And that doesnt mean Surya is nothing. Its been Surya's films that have given these Bollywood action heroes big blockbusters (Ghajini, Singham now Force). They are remaking Ayan next soon and that will probably end up as another blockbuster too.

If ayan is going to be remade in hindi, sure that would break all the previous records.

Too good bro. You spoke my words. Dev anand beats john in every dept. Be it body or performance. . . . Every one watches clint eastwood but no one intrested in dev saab. Atleast indians got movie sense. Dev saab should make *padmini pal permier* as clint uncle did in making gran torino
The review in Rediff is completely opp to review which was given in Times of India website. In TOI Critic Rating is 3.75 and Reader's rating is 4. Then how come this much diff
"Because you're bone tired of Bollywood's unstoppable need to remake every second, successful, exaggerated, action-packed production made-in-South"....wat do mean by these words preeti??? have u seen kaakha kaakha???it was a box office only because of its realistic approach...top class expressions by suriya in action and romantic scenes...and excellent raw villainous acting from jeeva...plz view the tamil ersion..its not at all exagerrated.....and we make better movies than u guys...will suggest u some...watch engeyum eppothum,muran...not like bollywood...where half of the heroes will be in foriegn...with a bikni clad heroine for him...followed by stupid songs in two piece...

Yes. I have seen biased review for Tamil Movies. But if Tamil Movies remade in Bollywood it also gets biased review. They are very racial...

@Parthasarathy,
who is "we"? and who is "you"?
And one still wonders why politicians have such an easy time dividing and ruling. If southern films are well made, fine, no need to run down another part of India
John's Force is boring and bad. I saw tamil's Khaka khaka, it was very good with suriya's excellent acting. Here John's performances are very bad. he did not do justice to the role.
