by lousyama on Oct 09, 2011 11:24 PM

his son must be cursing him that his dad will finish all the treasure by making flop movies like this..

When Dev or Dharam or Rishi or Jeetendra r in movie..we watch it just to pay respect.
We dont seek entertainment. Just go watch the veteran masters.
But Bachchan is over exposed.

Dev, evergreen!
by bala sreenivasan on Oct 04, 2011 10:54 PM

The very second line of the review betrays the ignorance of the reviewer! 'Jewel Thief' was directed by Dev;s brother Vijay Anand and not Dev Ananad!

Dev Anand...an inspiraion to anybody who loves life
by Balwinder Sandhu on Oct 03, 2011 11:31 AM

a legend indeed...even at this age, he's motivated enough to pursue his passion, film-making and acting, when anybody else with even 10% of his achievements would just sit back in retirement and live on past glories! Keep going, Dev Sa'ab.

SALUTE TO THE YOUNG"OLD" MAN OF BOLLYWOOD
by karan kothari on Oct 03, 2011 02:28 AM  | Hide replies

the movie may be bad.....but you cant hate a legend for that and dismiss him as a pervert. if even now Sir Dev Anand can make a movie, that also in just 14 lakhs, huh!!! that in itself is a great achievement.
speaking on the movie, Yes it was bad....but i do hope your next one would be better & i do hope there is a next one.
i really liked your movie: Return of jewel thief & Censor. the latter was very well made.

Best of luck to you Sir. Wish to see more of you in the future

bufoon anand !!
by sunny on Oct 02, 2011 02:51 PM

He is the most overrated actor / director in the history of indian cineam. His acting is anything but average but it is the direction I am appalled at ! His direction is amateurish and crude. All his hit movies are directed by others like guru dutt , vijay anand etc. .Movies he is famous for like Guide, Jewel thief , Johny Mera Naam is directed by Vijay Anand.I fail to understand why critics are so afraid to tell the truth . He is been dishing out these laughable crude movies for the last 10-20 years. Grow up guys . This moview does not even deserve a review.

"..Dev Anand is the eternal do-gooder. Especially in the films he directed whether it was Jewel Thief or Des Pardes.." Sad to see that a pro reviewer making blatant mistakes as this..just go and check as to who directed Jewel Thief.
"Maria reveals enough skin to keep the front benchers titillated." The phrase 'front benchers' is written in absolute bad taste. If only front benchers ( read poor) seeked titiliation, well then Murder wouldn't have been a hit. And moreover, in the multiplex age..what's does a front bencher imply??? Lazy?? Latecomer???

In complete agreement with you when you say that "The phrase 'front benchers' is written in absolute bad taste. If only front benchers ( read poor) seeked titiliation, well then Murder wouldn't have been a hit. And moreover, in the multiplex age..what's does a front bencher imply?"...it is indeed in very bad taste. And to stereotype somebody with less money to have less of so-called 'aesthetic taste' is ridiculous to say the least.

Great observations from both of you guys. One Hundred Percent in agreement with you. Preeti must understand that the 'back-benchers' have no aura about them.
