Forming such lists is meaningless and useless. Everybody has his own likes and preferences and you cannot choose 10 films, 10 roles, 10 songs etc from the hundreds of them. I don't understand why this useless exercise is done again and again for everything.

Just see & forget. How would you come to know that rediff is a baseless, frivoulous blog if it didn't publish such things?
DDLJ may be good love story but MPK??!! If true love is selfless and timeless then nothing beats Amar Prem (Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila) Bandini (Ashok Kumar, Nutan) Milan (Sunil Dutt, Nutan) Khamoshi (Waheeda Rehman, Rajesh Khanna) Madhumati
Sadma is one of the best romantic films ever made with the two acting gems-Sridevi and Kamal. Another is Guide-A Classic Then we have Dil Se-The best of both Shahrukh and Manisha Ek Duje Ke Liye
Kuch kuch hota hai should be in list of worst love story ever... SRK hugs rani mukherjee while holding hand of kajol. When rani mukherjee dies , then he starts thinking of kajol again. How was Rani mukherjee convinced that her SRK will not be married for eight years after her. The kid reading one letter every year was more funny. Funniest part was that Kajol was SRK's backup plan. Even more funny wsa that SRK gpoes to Kajol's house on her marriage day and starts crying...... What a waste movie of all time.

kuch kuch hota hai actually sucked...some very valid points...the backup plan is the true love...nd a 8 yr old gal fixes it up..manipulative nd ridiculous!!

yups, Kamal hassan elevates any film and ek duje ke liye was brilliant.. Even if this is a list of very popular love story movies, then Ek duje ke liye , Qayamat se qayamat tak, Love Story,Betaab should have been in list

I guess izzazat and namkeen from Gulzar' stable,sadma(the Kamal hasan gem)and jaya bhaduri's timeless Kora kagaz, Dev's guide are more deserving than some of the names in the list.
