Many go to US and enjoy a much better quality of life. They can live it up as they feel like a free bird. In India, we still are a conservative society (read pesky, nosey).

But these do not apply to Madhuri. She was in the limelight all these years and tough to cocoon herself in mediocrity after revelling in idolatory! She is a goddess in the eyes of many (pls don't deny, ok you are an exception). And getting consigned to the dustbins of Bollywood before her time(at least to her thinking) is a sheer waste and loss of opportunity for her to make big bucks. When others of lesser fame are hitting pay dirt, the temptations are just too much for making another killing. May hay when the sun shines; why not!

US is heaven for many others but even suffocating for Madhuri and her ilk. She still commands the filmy world. Come on, when her heroes pushing fifty, sixty are pairing with heroines their daughters's age, Madhuri is by no means old. There are female stars in Hollywood at sixty plus still getting good roles and even outshining their younger ones.

We need to face a basic fact. If male stars can get leading roles at any age, why not those like Madhuri? We ognore them when nubile ones come calling at sweet seventeen. We need to grow up and change those we have to, not in a hurry for those that have stood the test of time.

Madhuri & family can also relocate to US any time! Win-Win choice!

why return?
by ranjeet kumar singh on Sep 22, 2011 03:43 PM  | Hide replies

why is she returning to India? For gaining her lost fame or money? Afterall why she married to an NRI......she went ti U.S. so that she could get out of limelight and live a peceful life.....But I think she has now lost all her money in US recession and her husband might e getting fewer salary than earlier..So they have decided to come to India to live a decent life ...but isn't it total selfishness....

Right,USA rocks. But what have you done to make it rock ? You have escaped from your motherland and taken advantage of an already developed nation, no credit in that.

Besides, you might have lost your character and moral values like many USA women. You also might have become shameless like them.

TRUE OR NOT ?

Best of both worlds!

Anytime she can go back. They would have resident status or even already be US citizens. Hit when the iron is hot! She is still fresh in our minds and commands a presence. Now or never for her. She still has time on her hands, be it in US or India. It is likely, the kids will get back to US when they can be there on their own. Well within her right to try her luck whereever. Let us just wish her and hope that she entertains us too.
