MODI IS SITTING ON FAST JUST TO SUPPRESS(READ HIDE) THE DEMON INSIDE HIM. ALL THIS CONCENTRATION ON DEVELOPMENT IS FOR THE SAME I.E. TO HIDE HIS REAL SELF. FORGET ABOUT APOLOGIZING HE IS NOT EVEN READY TO TAKE MORAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR BOTH TRAIN BURNING AND RIOTS THOUGH THERE ARE INDICATIONS OF HIS DIRECT INVOLVEMENT IN THE RIOTS. AFTER ALL DIDN'T LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI TAKE MORAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR A TRAIN ACCIDENT AND RESIGN. MODI IS A MEMBER OF LORD RAM'S OR PANDAVAS PARTY. YOU CANNOT EXPECT THE SAME FROM CONGRESS BECAUSE THEY ARE 'RAVANS'OR 'KAURAVAS'. LIKE SONIA GANDHI APOLOGIZED FOR 1984 DELHI RIOTS WHEN SHE WENT FIRST TIME TO PUNJAB DESPITE SHE BEING A MEMBER OF RAVAN/KAURAV PARTY LIKE CONGRESS, MODI HAS TO APOLOGIZE SINCE HE IS FROM RAM'S/PANDAVAS PARTY. AFTER ALL HE HAS TO UPHOLD 'RAJ DHARMA' LIKE RAM/YUDHISHTIRA.

Why I think Modi is not resonsible for the Riots
by Pen diamond on Sep 19, 2011 10:10 PM  | Hide replies

Shilpa,
I think you dont realize the difficulties of administration when a riot is let loose.
Just one million policemen are just not enough to control a crowd of this magnitude.

By the way Sameer said:
Comming back to rioteers , Please tell me when an advanced country like England couldn't control theirs for days together and that too for something trivial, how do you expect to control a reaction arising out of an inhuman action ?

Also, added is the Special Investigation team led by Raju Ramachandran and once again led by Raghavan have not found anything appaling to reflect an administration failure during those riots.
So please understand this, I think and believe that Modi has done what he could.

I do understand the difficulties in stopping a riot instantly, or in far-flung areas. This riot, was it not expected? Was it spontaneous? I am aware of the discussions in the news channels those days.

Everyone feared a reprisal. It was not a bolt out of the blue. Secondly, do you in your heart of hearts believe that a riot could go on for 2 days without the state administration looking the other way?

Please do answer this honestly - if not here, in your heart. Coz it is important that we as Indians ask ourselves this question.

We need to provide justice to victims of riots, not obstruct deliverance of justice. We do know how the justice system in Gujrat had functioned in the cases of the accused in the riots cases.

Do keep in mind when you compare the situation in England that - the riots were not targeted at killing any section of the population.

Secondly, the police in England were instructed to be less provocative and ended up not using any kind of serious force. Indian police is different. They use excess force.

In Gujrat, they mostly stood by and supported the rioters. If the police wanted, they could have stopped the riots in a matter of hours. All it requires is purposeful policiing, which obviously was not in evidence in Gujrat.

So by your admission, the police did nothing and hence there were no H1ndu Casualties arising from Police bullets ?

Go to England, work hard, earn and become rich, then u will know who was targettted. The way ppl opposed Gujarat riots is ridiculous, because they had failed to do so when train was burnt in Godhra, when sikhs were traumatised, when pandits from Kasmir were made to flee their homeland. Go fight for bukharis and gelanis.
